They probably got it cheaper as an off the shelf tach rather than having a lower RPM one made.  You know, anything to save a buck (or loonie).  twoCents

Did I miss something?

What engine in an Argo could possibly need a 10,000 rpm tachometer?

Hell, the Honda interceptor Engine I was/will put in the "Argoceptor" has a 9500 Rpm redline...... rofl
