I'd really like to see the book. I remember reading about it coming out quite a few years ago, but it is impossible to find any copies. Is it possible that someone on here may be able to create a PDF of the book to post on the forum?
If i remember their weren't very many avail. i got lucky. I took a pic of the back of the book. the man was truly amazing
I don't really care for those jackshafts either. Did max ever do away with those in newer machines??
According to Sid's research in his book, there were no less than 79 different ATV's that they could identify. Almost all dating back to the late 60's & early 70's. Kinda think some of them would be close in specs to one another.

Thy look like thy have the same room But I do know you sit a little Lower in a Max 2.I thought that was the vehicle of choice when over 60? Like an unwritten law or something. Actually, I feel like I'm sitting lower in the Attex. And in an Attex, I can put my feet against the front wall to brace myself, but in a Max, my legs aren't long enough to reach the wall to brace myself, so I had Whip put Velcro straps so I can keep my feet/ legs from flopping around. The "compartment" is smaller in the Attex. But if you only go 5-10 mph, none of that how to brace yourself matters, does it?
