Cracks

1 way to stop a crack is to stop drill it, use a 1/8th  drill bit or slightly wider if crack is wide and drill a hole at both ends of the  crack, this will help relieve the stress.

Hey Jersey did the max 2 come with rubber tracks like the 4?   I’m looking for them and haven’t herd a positive YES yet, but that track bracket looks like the originals not aftermarket. Thanks for the pic Jonathan

2001 Max II 800T Body/Axle questions

Well here is the Max II I am looking into adding to my collection. It’s a 2001 800T with a 20hp Kohler. I noticed In the picture there seems to be a bracket along the bottom of the tub, maybe to support tracks better?  Has anyone seen this type of bracket on a six wheeler? I know it’s hard to see but you can also see that it sticks out from the tub extending the mount for the axle it seems. I asked for better pics but I don’t have those as of yet.

Also if you notice in the from pic, some of the screws from the gas tank have started to crack the plastic. What can be done about that? Do y’all just use polyurethane epoxy to seal the crack and stop the spreading?

Also the winch doesn’t work for whatever reason. If anyone’s bought one with a winch that didn’t work and it was a simple fix, by all means fill me in on your experience.

Will attach photos once I’m home. My iPhone won’t allow me to.  nopics
