Wfo and I drove up this morning (Saturday)to see Whip and offered a helping hand for whatever he needs. We had good conversation and took him to lunch. It is on behalf of whip that I post this with an update. He is doing ok. He says Thankyou to everyone for their prayers. We ask that you continue to keep the Will family in your prayers for the days to come. Wfo will keep in touch with him, as will I. 🦋🦋
Always,

Whipper and Family
I’m so sorry to hear of your loss. Was always good to chat with Bridget on the phone or forum. I never had the pleasure to meet her face to face but feel the loss of a friend. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Whipper and Family,
Maria, Christina, and myself are heartbroken to hear the news - Bridget was and is a wonderful soul and I'll never forget how both she and yourself treated us with such warm and friendly kindness on our Grand Canyon trip summer 2010 when we met-up with you both and you treated us to a 30-mile trail ride in the mountains around Munds Park AZ. My girls generally don't like ATV rides but they had a blast riding in Godzilla (phenomenal running MAX IV with Whipper's springer kit he created). And then you and Bridget treated us to dinner at the Casino (no changing clothes or showers allowed - this is Arizona after all!), followed by bowling and a little gambling. A beer or two along the way as well. A most memorable day on one of the most memorable trips we've ever taken...
Bridget and yourself are the real deal in the 6x6 community - you were both there at the dawn of the industry in 1970 as an early adopter of MAX upon your return from Vietnam; you and Bridget toured and raced the REAL 6x6 race scene in it's heyday, took movies of that era for posterity for all of us to enjoy, and Whipper of course was the Evil Knievel of the 6x6 racing golden age with his famous jumps over the cars in his custom-made leathers piloting that Attex....Great Stuff.
And Bridget was there in the thick of it in all those old movies and memories...
I'll miss Bridget's stories of past 6x6 glories, but although her light on Earth no longer burns anew, her powerful afterglow remains with all of us that had the pleasure of knowing her...
Full speed ahead and straight on 'till morning Bridget....

What terrible news. Gone too soon, what a wonderful soul she was. Though I only met her a couple times at Ashtabula she felt like family right off the bat. My condolences to Whip and the Will family.

MC and I had gotten VERY Close since we started this page deal with Richard. She always told me to keep the Watcher as my Avatar as she Knew I had our backs. Her and wipper had become Very good friends in another state that I was looking forward to seeing. It is with Very Heavy hart that I type this
I always would show her what I was building just to see if she approved
This is a Great site with Great people But now it has a Hole in it
Wipper if you ever get a chance to see this just know I Love you man and Wish I could be there for you !
Sorry people but this is all I can say at this time and PLEASE Send the Will Family your Love and Prayers .

Bridget always had a smile and a hearty greeting for all she met. She was one of the truly wonderful people in the hobby and all of us will miss her greatly. She treated my boys like they were her own and I never worried about them hanging around the pits when Bridget was there. My heart goes out to Whipper and the rest of the family: I don't pretend to know the pain you're in but be assured all that knew Bridget share in your grief.
