       :P       an ongoing problem with that engine for years. I thing their is a special kit you buy for that. don't use a hell coil use a one piece insert it won't leak. make sure you get all the metal out of the cylinder before you start it.

WTF is up with Ford, Borrowed my brothers 2001 f 150, doing 65 on I 64 and poof, the rear driver side plug decided it did not want to be in its hole anymore, the plug blew out and took the coil with it......Now time to install a helicoil, done lots on aircraft engines (10-32 size) Any special tricks I need to know in the Ford Engine? I plan on leaving the head in place. Engineers that designed this crap out be fired
