Us Diesel Tech's need to stick together  ;)
Just hit me up if I can help. I know a guy who has some attex parts for sale and he has a T20 in the pile. I will see if I can get a hold of him.

thanks wedge this is the first one I have ever tore down. Seems simple for a diesel mechanic. I will finish making my front left axle then order parts. lot of side work in my future.

Trust me I feel you !
But if you like it you need to fix it  :P
The last one I saw on E/Bag had a asking price of $500. And That's not say it was good inside ?
OH thy say its good But  :o
You can Check with Richard to see what a referb T20 is selling for or just keep an eye out for a used one.
I will look on my end to see if I can hook you up.

well I finely got the t20 tore down. the left side ring gear drum clutching teeth worn, shift thang worn, it seems that the inner plate was backwards. also found right side planetary drum down about 100 thousandths. back to the left side it did not have a washer between ring and inner plate. all bands are bad. can I find a good parts t20 or do I just bite the bullet on parts. I also could weld up that 1 drum and cut it back down but rather not.
