Great!! I hope I have better luck too!! I'm gonna be pissed if I tear this up due to lining coming off!! I'm not easy on my stuff. Especially this trail machine!! Lol

I posted a message sort of like this one on the  nazi site twice, first time it was removed
within a hour, the second time it was removed even faster, then I was sent a nasty note from
head Nazi Bum that I was slamming another person and for that reason I was banned for life.
So I assume TC and head Nazi are in bed together, I bet this why you never heard anything
bad about their relining

To answer your question,  Worked OK for a while, then sticks got tight and before I got back to
truck they went loose,  I assume the tightness is when lining came off and bunched up around drums?

Hop eyou h ave better luck with them, I will never use them again.

Hope you do not have trouble with relined bands form TC, I bought a set about
a year ago, and two of the linings pealed off after about one hour.  They were
poorly glued.  I called TC and they said they would replace the two, but not the other
two nor the drums which their crap bands made worn junk. These poor bands cost me  $140 and  two drums.
The drums were 300$ for two used nice drums and 340$ for the 4 new good bands.  Plus the
work of rebuilding the t20 the second time around.  in a Max 4 that is a lot of needless work.
Then I used new bands, the stronger thicker steel ones.  I should have used
new bands from the start.
I will try to find the pictures of the damage and post them here

Never again will I trust rebuilt old bands

LOL had to do the machining myself as my guy was way to busy to do it but it was actually pretty easy. just waiting on the bands from trans crafters now and I should be in business!!

There you go. If you want something done right, do it yourself.

Well I got the drumd faced off today and turned the old drum bushings out and pressed the new ones in and put the boring bar on and machined them so the shiter drums would fit in and I beleive all is gonna be well. I hopr!! LOL had to do the machining myself as my guy was way to busy to do it but it was actually pretty easy. just waiting on the bands from trans crafters now and I should be in business!!

Ok. I ordered some new bushings for the ring gear drums today. Anyone know the clearance needed between the shift collar and the bushing??  5 or 10 thou?? Thanks in advance as always!!

No I never really started doing that, just too time consuming. To much freight involved also.The ones I did rebuild were my own from junk machines that are my own spares.
The ones I did in the video belonged to George, He needed it done and I wanted to make a video of it.

while you have it out make it a COOL T-20

Drain some oil out of them and see if the oil is clear or has lots of metal in it.
The metal shavings will ruin the bronze bushing.
You can see the crud I scraped off of the drums in the video I posted.
Put a teaspoon full of your T-20 oil on a paper plate and a teaspoon full of clean oil next to it,
And compare.  .

Yea, it usually is. Also known as the popsicle stick. I would open it up and check it out.
They are usually a mess inside unless It has real low hours on them.
The plungers also need to be cut for double O-rings.
