Sounds like you have a Bind somewhere ! I can help you as I have these machines and rebuilt one for myself. You can see my build in the My Amphicat post. Just PM me and lets see what you have going on.

Amphicat axle shear pins

So I keep breaking the axle shear pin/bolt on my 81 Amphicat?  It is always the left center pin/bolt that shears off?  Am I using the wrong pin/bolt or is this an alignment issue of some sort?  I don't want to put too strong of a bolt in and damage something else either right.  Thanks.
