Tested actual pressure today on this vehicle. 35 psi cold 31-32 hot at idle. A bit more than I expected but Kohler hasn’t responded with any specs either. Rechecked wiring and ordered pressure switch. Assume something loose internally causing ground and turning light on.

No it’s off at idle. It flickers at speed and stays off for a while after shut down and restart. Haven’t been able to get back it back in to test actual pressure.

no Less than 12 psi if I am thinking rite on this engine.

put a gauge on it and see what you have and post it, should be around 20 to 40 idle hot.

Kohler LH775 oil pressure?

I have an HDI Argo that the oil pressure light flickers at times. Found nothing loose or damaged wiring and suspect the pressure switch. Cannot find any oil pressure specs in the shop manual. I want to test the actual pressure before declaring the sender the problem. Anybody got any idea what hot engine oil pressure is in this engine?
