Mesquite thorns are the toughest thorn out there. 3-4 inches long and go through everything.

We haven't had a problem with our mesquite thorns & we, too, have plenty of them. Best thing we try to do is avoid a mesquite & duck if you go under one. Do what you gotta do, I guess.

I definitely need sealant in mine. Mesquite thorns are the toughest thorn out there. 3-4 inches long and go through everything. I put 12 ply atv tires on my stepdads 4 wheeler and the thorns go straight through. But the good news on those is they are so rigid they don’t need air. They are SunF 12. Crazy awesome tire but not for the six wheeler. My rawhide iii are sealed to the max with multi seal Kevlar.

If you need  sealant in your tires then your tires are dry rotted or damaged
And your wheels are bent or damaged..
A good tire and wheel should hold @3 psi.

Must say the RwHide 3 is a tuff tire ! I ran them on all my Max's but I am going to give this new tire a shot and see if it hold up and dose what the R,H did ? for the price I can't go wrong 

Drive them like a Rental. They might be all you need.

I remember popping a bead once, even though we can run high psi with the springers, but we never got a flat or worse..a sidewall puncture . I have the same Rawhides that my machine came with. We did pick up a nail once (in the desert), but I think that was when we had the Runamucks on one of the machines.
