Max / Rec use to sell what they called K-Lock rims. I have a used set for sale if you want them. Also you need to look for wheels with a Sharp Bead lip on them.
3= Amphicat. 1= StarCraft. 1= Max 2= Attex  And Counting

I have some original rawhides on my 2000 Max and never had an issue, even in 10 degree F weather in Maine, or 90 in VA and i run 1.5 psi

Old tires will cause this problem, new tires with new lips that grip the rims work well.  I am running 21x11x8 Rawhide copy tires

What kind of wheel is everybody using that holds a bead with 3psi? I bought new tires and wheels from Richard several yrs ago but have a hard time to keep from breaking beads at low psi. I've read where some can't break bead on trail to fix tire or stem but mine pop down easy and running low psi and quik turns and banks will break beads unless pump up to 20 psi which is a rough ride . My wheels don't have the serrated edge that the bead sits on just smooth rim. Thanks divedigger
