Title: Oil Temp sensor
Post by: Craig_B on August 28, 2018, 04:33:03 PM
I have an old Argo TB 8X8 with the Tech. engine.
The oil temperature gauge has just stopped working.
I was hoping someone would know the temp sensors location on the engine so I can follow the wires back to the gauge. Following the wires from the gauge down isnt working.

Thanks

Any idea where on the block it was located?

Thanks

It should be on the Front or Rear side of the Block. On the Flat surface. About 1 to 2 inches above the drain plug.

In case anyone else ever needs the location of the oil temp sensor on a Tech motor it was located below the starter motor on the front side of the engine.

Right above the mounting flange and drain plug ? That's where I would say it should be  twoCents
