Wow! It has the sound of a rickity Panzer tank like the one in
Saving Private Ryan. You better hope you don't give some vet a flashback
in the parade and he crawls out in the street and slaps a sticky bomb on one of those rawhides.
A work of art. Should be a big hit in the parade.

It is obvious that you put a lot of thought into the build. Parade goers should love it.

Visibility is ehhhh.
I have a tank periscope built into the hatch. It's a small field of view but it swivels with the turret. Unfortunately, the turret is moved by pushing and pulling it from inside so I can't traverse and drive at the same time. I also have a backup camera mounted to the front. I'm able to see 120 degrees of what's in front of me on a 7" display inside the tank but it's still pretty restricted. I had my son spotting me so that made it a little less stressful.
So far the heat hasn't been an issue. I built some duct-work to vent the heat up through some louvers covering the engine. The rear deck probably has 6 times the ventilation of a stock Attex.
I also put some fans in the turret (mostly to keep carbon monoxide from seeping into the area my head is in). They might also keep the driving compartment cool. I also installed a CO detector on the ceiling of the turret just in case.

That's awesome!
How may cops/swat teams showed up in riot gear?
How is your visibility when driving it? It looks like it might be a bit like tunnel vision. It also looks like it might get hot in there after a short time.

Here's a short video I got just a few hours ago.
I hope to have a build video and a parade video up in the near future.

That is awesome George.
Does the gun shoot anything yet?
Can’t wait to see it in action.
They name planes and boats after women, why not tanks.
Jane must be honored.
And your neighbors must think your nuts.

Howdy Folks,
This thing has been keeping my busy nearly every day since last July. I plan to run it in a local Memorial Day parade in two weeks.
It started out as a combination of Attex models but I'd say it most closely resembles a Tomahawk under its "mask."
I've been documenting the build with photos and video. I hope to post something in the not too distant future.
