Glad you made it to the end without any sticky bombs stuck to the wheels. hilarious rofl fls
Real COOL, I’m sure you we’re the talk of the parade.
I wonder how many pictures we’re taken of you?
 Was this the Hancock Parade?

My dad took a bunch but so far he's only shared 3 or 4.

This parade was on Long Island. Not even a mile from home.  ;D

Maybe I'll haul it up to Hancock in July.

I was hoping to hear that you & the Calamity Jane had a few seconds somewhere on a local 10 or 11 O' clock news station.  What you contributed to the parade is way cool stuff.

I was hoping to make the news too. I don't think any was at this parade. There were plenty of parades though...I saw it on the news last night. :-)

Your tank looked good in the parade.  Did you get a lot of comments and questions about it?  I'm sure it was a hit. dance dance dance

I got lots of questions and folks wanting to take pictures of it/with it. Lots of kids climbing on their dad's shoulders to have a look inside. It was great!

Many were surprised that somebody was inside... they thought it was RC. A lot thought it was electric because you could not hear the engine over the tracks.

I was talking to one of the cops at the start and he asked me if it was a Max! I told him "No, but it's practically the same!" He then told me had a Max IV at home.

Thanks ascaw.

A friend on FB recommended fans up front pulling air in. I have the two headlight holes not being used. Maybe a summer upgrade.  Have to pull the frame anyway. Turns out it's a little butterflied.

That is some great workmanship.  If you find that it is still too hot or the exhaust fumes seem a bit much you may want to consider putting a fan on the louvers over the engine to vent the heat and gasses outward.  With the two intake fans and an exhaust fan or two, that should help create a constant change of air and help keep the air circulating in the tank.

The tank should be a lot of fun in the parades. banana

Here's some video I shot yesterday to give you an idea of what went into this thing.

Thanks every one!  ;D ;D ;D

It is probably the biggest 6x6 project I've ever grappled with. I think it's going to be the only tank I build.
