Greetings all. New here. Picked up a Max II Ser. No. 740, 2 cycle with a Kawasaki TA 440A-F202,  displacement 436cc, Ser No. TA440A-023788.
Will have lots of questions I'm sure mainly on clutch replacements and possibly a engine replacement to a higher HP snowmobile 2 stroke.
Thanks folks!

From Bergen NY---the turtleman.
Rebuilding a max 2. found in a barn with a roof leak. Good thing is it holds water---about a foot deep.
Bad thing is, it holds water---about a foot deep.
It's been a project but almost ready.
Have to get a new motor. Will a predator 13 hp with 420 ft lbs be ok or weak?
thx

Hi , I'm new here and I'm trying to get used to this site. I have a 1986 Max11 and it's been off the trails for some time.Just ordered 2 new chains and I have to say that 6x6.com came through awesome and got the chains fast. Now I need to rebuild the carb. And should be good to go....Well next time I will post some pics.
