Argo lists 55 ft-lb for lug nuts on track adapters. I find that to keep the wheels from working loose it takes 65 ft-lb

Thanks 65 ft-lbs it is!!

Sorry I do not know, I just tighten as I would a 4 wheeler or any other off road machine, not a tight as a car but real tight using a 1/2 ratchet, not impact.  Hope this helps a bit.  twoCents. Jeff Bar

Wheel Nuts

Quick question about wheel nut torque for an 1983 Argo TB 8x8.

Looked in my manual but I cannot find the info. probably because back in '83 wheel nut torque specs just where not considered too important.
Anyways.

Does anyone know what I should torque these wheels down to? I will also be installing the aluminum wheel spacers for my tracks if that affects the torque spec.

Thanks
