Well, that couldn't have been this weekend. Whip tells me it was in the 30s (about 20 degrees colder than NY).  ;D ;D ;D

Good to see you behind the sticks again Bridget!

I'm still working on the next one. I was really impressed with Whip. I asked him to look in his rear view mirror once in a while to make sure I was still in view. (he has a tendency to not).  hilarious Camera doesn't lie. He was checking.  hilarious  :-*.

George, I think you are correct.  I can watch the videos from the card on my computer and they play fine.  When I drag and drop them to the computer and then play them is where the issues are.  Most of the video plays fine but at certain points throughout it is as if the video portion is a bunch of still pictures and sometimes it is pixelated, the audio is fine.  My computer is 5 1/2 years old.  When I get a new one I will make sure it is good to go for video transfers.

Thanks everyone for all the help. :)

It sounds like a problem with the PC to me. The PC may not have enough RAM to keep up with the files. How old is it? Make sure you turn off all unneeded programs (browsers, editing software...). Also, drag the files off the card and on to the hard drive (don't run the files directly from the card). There are different USB slots. Sometimes the older ones can't transfer files fast enough to stream the video properly.

I'd try running the card/files on a different PC and see if the results change. Then you'd have a better idea if it's the card or not.

No. I remove the card from the camera and put it in the computer.

That is worth a try.  I hadn't thought about that.  Thanks for the suggestion.

Just like these machines..process of elimination. If the card is the problem, it is the cheapest route to find that out without pulling your hair out.  :o

And if not then I still have another card, win - win.   :)

Whip says to try a new memory card. You can upgrade to an even bigger one, but that might be what you want to check out first. Maybe the card is just messed up.
