That is kinda what a guy said today. Bend a welding rod in the U shape and wedge it over the nut. And before anybody says something, no I didn’t say wedge was a nut. I’ll let everyone make there own opinions

Why not drill a .032 hole through a flat and safety wire it with some .025 or .032 SS wire, like we do in Aviation, cheap and wont move

It's the bolt retainer (keeper) that goes on the bolt and around the bolt head when it is in the U-channel to prevent the bolt from turning (loosening or tightening).

Last night I found channel lock washers for Unistrut. Don’t know if they would work. Probably easier just to make them so they slide in the channel and over the nut. I’m sure they could be cut out of a cnc Machine.

I see they are out of stock. I did make one out of a 5/16” fender washer once. Took me an hour to fab. Good luck

You may have to make them or have them made. You can call Richard (6x6 parts) and see if he has them. The only other place that probably has them is Mudd-Ox and I know they are not popular with some people but the last I knew they still make the T-20 for at least one of their machines.

Does anyone know where to purchase the 4 retainer nuts that go into the U channels on a T20 trans. Preferably local auto stores or grainger. If not I will order them. Thanks in advance
