My dad bought me a wireless winch for Max as a gift. I just got my plate from Richard. I intend to mount the winch next weekend. Should be glorious!

I forgot to add, my front winch is powered. My rear detachable winch is hand crank. I’ve used it and ya geared to turn by hand crank pretty easily. Works great. In the mean time I’ll work on pics!

You can see the front winch in the pics of Toad. But I will get close ups Sunday. I think my back winch is up at the lake too for pics. I’ll do my best  popcorn

I love having a winch on mine. I also have a portable winch that I can attach to my hitch in the back if I ever need it. I used my winch when I first got Toad. She lost power due to that bent pushrod and was stuck. The winch really got me out of that pickle. So yes, a winch is always a wonderful idea. Something you never think about until you need it, then you are absolutely grateful. I mounted the switch on my dash. Looks sleek.  banana

I think I have one in the box at the barn. I’ll check Monday, I’ll bring it also when I pick up the motor

Not really . But I can put supports inside at this point. Most all I see are just tied into the upper body at the belt line.
Thy seam to hold up But ??
This is one reason I didn't want to mount a Permanent winch on the front. Plus I ride in all types of terrain and don't always need it .

Does the max have a frame that supports the front up high?

My Idea is to make a strong Hook up point on the front and have a Portable winch .
I have one that I use on my trailer and it will fit anything .

I have one but the swamp fox came with one from factory. the mount has very little support and I bent bracket and pulled out the bottom tub about 1 inch from the top side where it connects together. I will modify somehow.
