Title: Broken max 4 shifter

After wiping out another belt I broke the shift lever on the max. I’m taking it over to a machinists tomorrow and since I need work done on the machine I was thinking of just having him do the split shift. On October 31, 2016 rabbit put together a description on how to do the split shifter on another site, I was wondering if anyone has seen this mod and would you recommend this way of doing the mod. Thanks in advance for your opinions.

How did you break the shifter ?
The Split shift is cool and I did one on my StarCraft but it is not up and running yet.

It broke right at the weld. If it can be broke I can break it

I did a split shifter on mine and it was one of the best, cheapest, easiest mods to do on a T20. here is a picture. easier to show then to explain.... just secure 1 end of the sleeve and the other end just goes inside of it.. add grease good to go

He has a Max 4 so I think the levers are going to be different for sure. But you may just have to Copy the one and have two ?

That photo is axactly what I showed the machinist. We’re also bringing the drive levers back so I’m not leaning forward in the seat all the time.
