should be ok, if it were mine I would have a harder axle made just because of all the problems you have with breakage. maybe just the rears.
call Richard and see if he has a line on a stronger axle. concentrate on the rear because thats where all the torque is being made.

I’m assuming the ones I have been ordering from Richards are ok?

You can use any kind of axle as long as its 1 1/4, splines don't matter. I use all splined axles with these ULTIMATE BEARINGS.

Can you use the splined axles or do you recommend changing them also. I’m asking, because around March I need to rebuild my max so it can handle my maintenance abuse, and work that I put it threw. I’m not asking because I’m worried about money I just want to put it back together and have as little problems as possible. I’ve had my share

You really only need 4 of these bearings, but I run 6 . one at each end and the middle. look at the pics in this thread.
the inner axels I use the larger 72mm bearing with a spacer so it will clear the frame.

Ultimate bearings should have been an Obama mandate.  rofl rofl
They are Top Notch.  dance dance dance
WFO has never changed a wheel bearing, and will probably never have to.
He probably has forgotten how to.
Someone should buy that before he changes his mind.
That would be the ultimate Christmas present.

I got your P.M. and told you I would post the price that i see on line . from what I see today the bearings are around 257 to 272 each. then the housing has to be made. in the past i paid about 50 $ to have them made. and also their is no markup on anything that i make. all you pay is what it cost me plus shipping. they are expensive but if your running tracks and mudding these are the bearings to use.I do have a set on my old max iv that i might let go but you have to buy the whole rig, its missing the top of body and the T-20 :)

Thanks MC.
I did purchase a red clutch spring but couldn't get the thing off the shaft to change it.   With tearing it back down to do the axles I'll probably pull the whole frame, treat and spray it and I'm going to give removing the lower clutch another shot.   Sounds like the red spring is a big deal.

Glad you got it running at least.  :) Sounds good & climbed with no problem. That's the heart of the machine & it's pumping good now.

Thanks so much for posting videos.
