Just an update.. heard from a good friend that it ended up being a bent rod & no compression in a cylinder, so the motor was trash & replaced with a 22hp Predator. Just to let you have some closure on what was wrong with it.  ::)

Apparently the patient has a bad heart and needs a heart transplant.

Well, lots of great options for things to check for lack of power. Maybe the patient got better on its own or needs more tests. No updates.  :(

Read your first post again. Are you sure it's not something as simple as the deflection on your belt? You said that seemed fine, but IDK?
Is she right! Yes, that is just one of your problems.
I read your post again too.
I think the Sea Foam is your biggest mistake,
If it has broken down all the sludge in your gas tank, it has clogged up your fuel lines
And probably your filter too,
And it for sure is clogging up the jets in your carburetor.
Sounds like you need to pull that gas tank and clean it right,
Don’t clean the fuel line,THROUGH IT AWAY with the fuel filter,
Then pull the carburetor and clean it.
Then buy the right belt.
If the tank is rusted inside you may never get it cleaned good enough.
BUY A NEW ONE.

Also I have seen the Fuel line shift and get Pinched in the body line.
If it sat for some time it may be best to just run new line.

Depending on the carb for $28.40 on Amazon you can remove 2 bolts and throw the one on the machine in the trash. I’ve done this with our Honda motors, But the replies before me know a lot more, just giving 2 cents.

I would pull the carb all the way apart and soak it in carb parts cleaner for a day er two when blow out every hole/port with compressed air. the gallon can of cleaner are around 22 bucks but well worth the money.
iagree with everything He SAID !!!!
