Title: BIG BLOCK MAX IV ENGINE MOUNTS
Post by: WFO on September 16, 2017, 08:38:22 PM
BIG BLOCK MAX IV ENGINE MOUNTS. so i had this issue with the drive belt making noise and i was loosing grip on the belt when pulling hills. so after taking a vid of what was going on i found that the engine was pulling down and the engine twisting when under heavy torque loads. so after watching the vid a few times and looking at other types of mounts i came up with this. theirs not much room to work with so i had no choice but to double up the mounts and do some welding. could not go any larger in diam.

Those are the same things that the engine was mounted in the cat. Or same kind as thy was way to soft !
If you still have problems you can go with bolts and Poly bushing's . That is how the StarCraft engine will mount .
