I was thinking about that but decided to wait. still can do later. didn't want to breach the upper part of the tub just yet..
so this is what will be on the outside bolted down T6061 extruded aluminum, this is not the piece that will be used. had to cut another.

If  you could get some 6016 aluminum and Bend it to the shape of the tube about a 1/16 "  that should hold it tight and firm !
The Longer to the top the better !
And try to tie the top flange into to it that way there is no flex on the front of the lower tube !

the steel that i used is 8515 3/16 , sturdy and tough. sprayed down some of that flex seal and bolted the plate down.
brought the body right back up where its supposed to be.

this is the front cross bar that holds the upper part of the springer side plates in place, this will be modified to hold the front part of the body up, their will be an aluminum plate on the outside front for it to bolt thru

so first off ,with the cage off, i tried to recreate the flex by lifting up in certain areas along the sides. as i was doing that i watched the cracks close up and seal. now that i know where to lift up to close the cracks i can build supports to hold it up. the first area i will tackle is the very front. ill use some of this when I'm ready to bolt down the plates

its kind of like bending something is the same place over and over it gets weak. the body design at the front is wrong, it makes the bend half way up and thats the weak point. and thats were the cracks are at.

That's the only problem with the max iv.  When the tub is molded it gets thin in the corners.  That's why they put the skid plates on them.
