Not Mine BUT the Sidewinder had Hydro Steering clutches if I am correct ?
Like a Scrambler . Plus the engine in the back. I just Never saw anything like this before ?
Do you have pics of this drive from them ?
As I said I Don't know them all !  Plus you have been in this as long if not longer than me so Teach me ?
I've never seen a sidewinder or a scrambler for that matter all I know is a max 2 and attex machines. And still learning!! Like going to 1 1/4 axles is gonna be on the next build.

Oh I Trust you for sure ! But Who did all that work to it ?
Plus did thy ever build a drive system like that ?
It is New to me BUt That's not saying much  hilarious
All I know is the drive system is called a V-plex and it was designed in 1966 in Hagerstown Indiana. I was told by the guys wife he bought it like it is because he was a lineman and used this to get to flooded poles so he could climb them.
He had an accident in 2003 involving a bucket truck tipping over and has been in a wheelchair ever since so I never got a chance to actually speak to him but I really wanted to hear some more about this creation like speed on land and water. Has like an 8hp or 10 hp craftsman motor so I'm sayin it was no speed demo on but someone was very creative making that prop drive!!

Never saw a Prop shaft going out the lower Tub before ?

I've got a copy of THE SIX-WHEEL DRIVE AMPHIBIOUS DRIVE ALL-TERRAIN VEHICLE STORY book authored by Sidney Wallach (founder of MAX) sitting on my lap.
It's a Sidewinder. Trust me.

OK ! I Have NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THAT DRIVE BEFORE !!
I Still don't think it is a SideWinder or Scrambler !!!!!
It has a Prop drive out the back !
You have me Stumped and also a RAIR MACHINE THERE !
Try to find a Data Plate or something .
WOW What  a Find  ;)
Wedge there's a real good possibility I will give this machine away to anyone that thinks they would try to get it going or make a decoy floating trailer!! I still have another attex to build and haven't started it yet.

The body is a Sidewinder. Who knows what they did to it. You could get them with a 4 hp outboard.

It is but I can move that stuff around While I have the top off.
Just like you would on a 4 to lower the engine.
That is my thoughts anyway ??
