My old Max 2 Had #60 Main and #50 Final Chain in it Stock. But the 60 chain all the way through the machine would be a nice upgrade !
3= Amphicat. 1= StarCraft. 1= Max 2= Attex  And Counting

ascaw, do you own the Max II with the #60 chain?

No. I have the red Max II with a winch and factory roll bar, it's pretty much a stock machine.  I think you may be referring to Mike, Shanna's boyfriend.  He has #60 chain in his and he has also changed the gear ratio a bit.  He has a big motor in it also, probably 50 HP.  He has done a lot in the way of beefing it up as he said he doesn't like things to break and he likes to beat on it.

Just a suggestion...doesn't matter whether you're racing or out in the middle of nowhere, it might be in your best interest to have fire extinguishers. We have small ones in ALL of our machines. They mount easy & don't take up much room. Back in the day, seems the spotters in different turns on the track always had one handy. Just something to think about if anything unexpected happens. It's just something people forget to put on their checklist.  ;) Stay safe.

Yes, absolutely. We have small extinguishers in each of the race machines but up to this point never kept them in the trail riders. I figured that no one gets as silly on the trails as they do on the track, but after some of the stories that came back from the woods of Pine Lake last weekend, I think we'll be installing them in all the machines.

That is not a bad idea M.C.  You never know when you might need one.

Great video Joe.
I got to Pine Lake late on Sunday about 8pm spent some time with Bud F. and Jim by the campfire. Wish my schedule would have work out this last weekend. To see you all.
So how was it to race on the new track?

Everyone had to do the joker lap 1 time in a race (except springers, they didn't do it).

Oh, that's something different.  I know a few springers that would have taken that hole if they were there & had to & they aren't all out West.  ;) ;D

The springers are the only ones that did not hit the water hole they had enough problems with the wet track. We watered and Springer was race # 2 they was slipping an slosing all over the place.
