Anytime, I guess I should post them. I’ll never use them and I’ll need 21s for tracks for the max 2

Wedge I know I have 6 tires that are off my max when I bought it, there in the shop, and there in good shape I think there 25 inch rawhides I’ll have to check. Don’t buy anything yet I may have what you need.

I was more worried about what might get caught between them. Anything big
Enough would surely lock the wheels up and maybe break a chain.

Oh...now he tells me.  :o Actually they were quite a cush ride, especially when driving over river rocks, but I prefer a little less bite on the open road. It's all about the terrain that you ride in & how you plan on using the machine. Sometimes when you hear people rave about a particular tire they end up being useless for someone else. It all seems to be an experiment to find what YOU need & if they work best for those needs. We don't need a mud tire, soft tire, but we do need a tuff tire.

I mounted up these for the StarCraft but may try them this winter on the Max 2. ( Snow )
I Like the fact that thy are close to the old V tread NangKang tires of old.
Gives you a little wheel spin and is not so hard on the drive line.

I put 25” rawhides on the Model Citizens SS once and there was only about
1/4” space between the tires. They never did flex much or touch each other.

I thought they rode pretty smooth but then again it was on a springer.
You could run any tire and it would feel good.

May have to work the body a few times to get it to set . Take your time with the heat gun as you don't want to thin the body out to much !

I ended up ordering 6 24x11-10 swamp witch tires from simple tire and then 6 10x8.5 rims from Jims tires. Got the tires for only $400 shipped to the house with a discount code and the rims were $230 delivered to the house. SO next week I will have some wheels to wrestle with and then some body clearancing.

Thanks for the replies guys. I do plan to have to stretch the body and on the max II the axles are 25" center to center as well. So that's the big issue is that alot of 25" tires can be larger than 25" or even if They are just under 25" as they spin faster They can expand and will rub each other.  I would love to get some mud bugs but the new 25" ones say they measure 25.2" where the older ones for sure measured more like 24.5" which were perfect.

Yep, different situation, similar dilemma. If I can not get the R III's on my Argo to cooperate as mentioned here http://6x6talk.com/index.php?topic=201.msg2544#msg2544 there are few choices that I feel comfortable with to replace them. All for the same reasons. Furthermore, mine are on 9" wheels which makes buying new 8" wheels a must. If I must go this route this is probably going to be my decision.

Yeah, times 6. Ouch.

Just remember that these Machines use the tire in a Reverse Pattern so as to Cup the Ground under the tire to get Bite and Flotation .
You Don't want the tire to Dig down and High center your machine.
That is why the AT 101 was such a good tire.
I have the older NangKang chevron tires on my Amphicat. As that machine has Small axles and Chains.
On My Max 2's I ran the Rawhide tires and thy fit the type of riding I was doing.
The Runamucks seam to work Real well also and Ride very good to boot.
It is really all in what your looking to do with your machine really.
