Whatever bites!

You've got that right!  ;D No matter how great a day it seems for fishing out here, sometimes they just aren't interested.   :(

Whatever bites! Usually it’s small mouth, lake trout or pickerel.

Good morning all! New member so I figured I’d introduce myself. I recently purchased my second AATV to use primarily for ice fishing. I now have a 1995ish Max II with the 14hp B&S. Today it gets the 16HP carb and some other maintenance items.
I originally purchased a 1972 Attex with the JLO 300 to see if it would tow my ice sled and get me back and forth across the lake. It did as advertised so I upgraded to a newer 4 stroke model (I realize “upgrade”, “newer”, and “4 stroke” may be controversial words)...but the 45 year old Attex just wasn’t as reliable as I needed it to be and I got sick of wrenching on it for an hour before I could hit the lake.
Anyhow, I’m retired military, now I’m a manager for an oil company, and enjoy the great outdoors here in New England.
Thanks for allowing me into this site!
Jeremy

I used Cutter Guard on mine from Lowes. But any small 1/4" will work. You pop rivet it in on the inside .

Yessir! Thanks for the help.  I did come up with a quick question.  On the back of my Max, the vents aren't covered by wire mesh to keep leaves and debris out.  Do any of y'all know what mesh would work best for that? I figured Id run down to tractor supply and grab some, but I didn't know if there was one in particular anyone has found to be best.  8)

I never formally introduced myself to the site.  I just hit the ground running with problems.  I recently bought a Max II approx. year of 1997 or 1998.  Serial Number is 13809.  I have been wanting one for going on 15-20 years and finally pulled the trigger.  Ill be posting on here to get yalls knowledge as I get more time to drive around here in South Texas.  I got it for my ranch and duck hunting on some stock ponds that are well hidden.  I also have two lake houses that I got to take it for a quick swim this last weekend.  Thanks in advance for all yalls input and help.  Seems like a solid group of 6x6ers.

I've been lurking about here and on 6by6 world.
I bought carguys' Swampfox with the 3 cyl. metro engine.
I've been adding some LED's and need to finish up the winch install.
I live in central OK
I also own a COOT and an Eagle.
