my swamp fox has grease fittings on the outer bearings but has sealed bearings. Should I go with non sealed? Is the grease just for water leaks?
-
they need to be the sealed type. theirs a little hole in the outer casing that lets grease in if the flanges are sealed properly and the hole lines up with the zert. :)

Grease fitting
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A grease fitting, grease nipple, Zerk fitting, or Alemite fitting is a metal fitting used in mechanical systems to feed lubricants, usually lubricating grease, into a bearing under moderate to high pressure using a grease gun.

The bearings I have are the ones with no grease hole.

I got them from motion. Just a sealed pre greased bearing. Not sure what the others are just the ones I had to change. I almost drilled a hole but did not.

found the ones with the hole. cheaper than the ones without. thanks again
