Not giving credit where credit is due, Richard Clark has kept the MAX going, and your dreams.

I still say not too many people are going to buy a new 50 year old machine,  time will tell.  Ha ha....

Thank you Chief!

We have bigger plans for the MAX 2 and of course the MAX 4 and Buffalo when we release those (hopefully in early 2025). But we need time (and money) to do things properly. Upon speaking with previous management at Recreatives, the MAX 2 was the best vehicle to put back into production first for multiple reasons, so that is why we did that.

As a fellow enthusiast as well, I'm thankful for the handful of folks have supplied parts over the years that MAX was shut down. That has kept these vehicles running, which has kept people interested in them - all of which played a role in pursuing to bring the MAX back.

Now there is a new generation of ATV riders that know nothing about MAX or even Argo!  ;D

Great to see another AATV resurrected from all the neglect and even better getting the next generation interested in the hobby.  It's awesome that you have a platform that allows you to do these type of projects especially with students.

This is awesome news.   I hope this will be a huge success.  It would be great to have a virtual celebration.

I have spent time on the website.    It is already a unique vehicle.   I really like some of the changes that have been made.   In my mind, it is now an greatly improved vehicle.   If I were AndyL, I would be very proud of the changes he has made.  New improved parts, new changes, new functionality.  Wow.  It is a MaxII+.    A few more things I am sure he has planned and it will be a MaxII++!!

There is only goodness than can come of this re-start.   It has inspired me to start to work on the long term restoration of my Max IV that I have owned since new.  It was used hard and put up wet.    It should be finished this week.     I intend to take it to Vintage Days in Ohio this year.   That is overwhelming a motor cycle show,  but other unique vehicles show up.   I am hoping my MaxIV will have great interest.  I will enthusiastically tell them about MaxATV.com.

And I do thank the stalwarts like Richard that have kept this machine alive.

As some of you already know, I teach for a technical school and I try to incorporate hands-on projects with my students as much as I can.   A couple of years ago I acquired a Combat Vehicle Simulator from Mudoxx.   It sat in my garage for a couple of years waiting its turn in the project rotation.  This year I decided to create an after-school project and the CVS is the candidate.  The students started the project in December of 2023.  They meet after school on Wednesdays from 2:00-4:00.  The goal is to restore it and present it at our annual Veterans Day celebration.  Because they only get to work on it for two hours a week, it has been slow going but the group who signed up for the project is highly motivated and making great progress.  I take pictures every week and there are too many to post here but you can see them on my web page.

Thank you John and Grim! We are pretty excited as we are only a few weeks away from building the first 2024 MAX 2 models.

Regarding bodies, we will sell black upper and black lower bodies to existing MAX owners (we are no longer producing tan).

The new green and blue colors we are offering for uppers, lowers, and floorboards are reserved for new vehicle production as the colors are unique to the new generation of MAX vehicles.
